FWCP Sponsorship

About Far West Community Partnerships' Sponsorship

 

A FWCP Sponsorship is once-off financial support for an activity or event that benefits the community and aligns with the goals of our Far West Change Agenda i.e. Happy, Healthy, and Wealthy outcomes for the Far West community and FWCP's mission of sustainable development and community wellbeing.

Who Can Apply​​

 

We welcome applications from:  â€‹

  • Community organisations and clubs.

  • Non-profit groups and associations.  

  • Individuals with community-driven initiatives.  

​

Preference is given to non-profit and grassroots groups. For-profit organisations must show clear community benefit with no commercial gain.

Sponsorship Criteria​

 

To be eligible for sponsorship, applications must:

  • Align with FWCP's mission of sustainable development and community wellbeing;  

  • Demonstrate community impact and inclusivity;  

  • Include a clear and itemised budget;  

  • Commit to acknowledge FWCP publicly;  

  • Submit post-event content (e.g. short report with photos or an article);  â€‹

Note: the maximum FWCP will sponsor any single organisation/event per financial year is $1,500.​

How to Apply

1. Check if FWCP is already involved in this project or event.

  • If we are, please contact us first. This may be a program expense, not a sponsorship.

​

2. Prepare your application by completing the FWCP sponsorship application form, then attach:

  • A brief description of your organisation or team

  • Details of the initiative

  • The amount requested

  • A detailed budget

  • Any supporting documentation (e.g. community letters of support).

​

3. Submit your application via email to: â€‹grants@fwcp.com.au

​

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Please submit your application at least 4 weeks before your event date. Let us know in your application if you need an urgent review.

What Happens Next?

  • We will confirm we have received your application and when to expect a decision.

  • All applications are reviewed by the Executive Leadership Team.

  • You will be notified of the outcome of your application within two weeks of the review.

After the Event

Successful applicants must:

  • Acknowledge FWCP in promotional materials (where appropriate).

  • Provide a short event summary (e.g. a few sentences and a photo).

  • Share any content agreed to in your sponsorship agreement.

​

This helps us celebrate your success and share the impact with the wider community!

Broader community reach across more than one group or location. Public acknowledgement required.

Significant regional impact, clear alignment with FWCP priorities, and post-event content required for FWCP communications.
