Far West Community Partnerships & Adelaide University Partnership Agreement

Representatives of Far West Community Partnerships (FWCP) and the Far West Aboriginal Community Leader’s Group (FWACLG) met with Adelaide University on Monday (6 March 2023) to sign a partnership agreement off the back of a developing relationship over the past few years through shared research opportunities.

The partnership is a shared commitment between the Far West Region and Adelaide University to improve access to opportunities relating to research, education and capacity building.

“We are excited to be able to enter into a partnership, where we can bring genuine opportunities to the people in the Far West that is led by them. For the first time, the community will be able to direct the involvement of external research and evaluation, to support our outcomes.” FWCP’s Chief Executive Jessie Sleep said in reflection of the partnership.
